Exciting Trip Coming

Kayak, Canoe, Boat Rides, Camping, SCUBA, Freshwater Springs, Abundant Wildlife and HOT pancakes for breakfast. Who could ask for more? At De Leon Springs State Park in Volusia County you can have it all.

Sunday September 6,2009 the Florida Travel Guide expert staff will be spending a leisurely day at Deleon Springs State park.

We will begin our day by getting on the water very early. There are kayak and canoe rentals available. It is best to call and get information. These are available on a first come first serve basis.
There is a $5.00 park entrance fee, but there is no boat launch fee. Call ahead for kayak and canoe rental rates.

De Leon Springs flows into the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge where canoeists and kayakers can explore 18,000 acres of lakes, creeks, and marshes.

After a day of paddling the water we will have a mid afternoon feast at the At The Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant, guests can make their own pancakes at the table,, or enjoy a variety of salads and sandwiches from their menu. Pancakes are served all day. This is an amazing place.
